Senior Product Copywriter

Location: London, UK / Status: Open

As the Senior Product Copywriter, you will be responsible for maintaining and developing our tone of voice across our various products including our app, website and other materials. You will help optimise user journeys by reducing ‘noise’ and directing users with minimal copy that gives the best possible user experience.

The ideal candidate will have a good understanding of the health and/or wellness market and be empathetic towards the emotional triggers for our users. This includes defining the microcopy for each page, each button and directive or push notification.

You will be working closely with our content lead, Chief Product Officer and Director of Operations as well as the product and content teams. You may be required to help manage external freelancer resources and hire more permanent writers as the team grows.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop the product copy team
  • Build relationships with marketing, product and content teams to understand their needs
  • Work closely with Product teams, head of Marketing, Head of Brand and Design, Product Managers to understand promotional plans and resource needed to deliver against those plans
  • Be a brand and tone of voice custodian for all our products and verticals
  • Review existing in-app / website / social copy and optimise according to brand guidelines
  • Help establish the company brand guidelines and tone of voice

Requirements

  • 4 years+ experience in copywriting for marketing especially in Product
  • Available to work in our central London office
  • Native proficiency in English language and confident working across key markets
  • Experience in working within legal and / or medical constraints a bonus
  • Proven ability to work to tight deadlines
  • Ability to self-start
  • Excellent attention to detail on a micro level
  • High level of productivity
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
