Feeling pressured? Here's how to take time out

Life under lockdown can be just as busy as regular life - you may be working from home, have kids to look after, or filling your day with activities and new hobbies.

Whatever your situation, it's important to take time out for yourself to help your mind and body switch off.

To do this, you could try:

  • active relaxation -- take a walk at your own pace or try gentle exercises like yoga, Pilates or stretching
  • listening to music -- music can connect you with your emotions and distract you from your worries
  • taking a break from technology
  • running a warm bath
  • reading a book or magazine
  • stopping for a moment and closing your eyes, then thinking of somewhere peaceful.

Quote of the day

Ever tried. Ever failed. No matter. Try Again. Fail again. Fail better. -- Samuel Beckett

Soothing music to study to
