Lockdowns are lifting -- how can you stay safe?
Thursday, 28 May · 2 min read

As you create your new normal and start to go out more, you should continue to follow core guidelines around handwashing, physical distancing and wearing a mask in public places.

But what should you do if others around you aren't following the rules?

All you can do is be extra vigilant yourself to minimise any risk from being around them:

  • move to keep a safe distance if others are coming too close
  • avoid touching your face mask or pulling it down
  • avoid touching your face, particularly your eyes, ears or nose, until you can wash your hands

Pay attention to any local guidelines as well, as these vary by country or state.
