How’s your mental wellbeing? Take a minute to check
Monday, 27 July · 2 min read

Have you noticed a change in your mental wellbeing recently?

According to the World Health Organization, rates of anxiety and depression have increased in many countries since the coronavirus pandemic began.

So this week, we’re going to focus on getting you to think about your own mental health, what could be affecting it and what you could be doing to improve it.

But firstly it's worth taking a minute to think about how you've been feeling lately. To do this, ask yourself these 7 questions:

  1. Have you felt low in mood or depressed recently?
  2. Have you felt less interested in doing things?
  3. Have you found it harder to fall and stay asleep?
  4. Have you found yourself overeating, or not eating enough?
  5. Have you felt anxious or stressed at all?
  6. Have you been worrying more about things?
  7. Have you found it harder to relax?

If you answered yes to any of these questions, don’t worry. We’ll be looking at each of these aspects of mental wellbeing in more detail during the week, giving you tips and information on how to improve them -- and your mental wellbeing overall.
