Modern life can be busy and stressful, especially right now. You may be juggling work and family commitments, be concerned about loved ones or perhaps you're worried about your future.

This can take its toll on both your physical and mental health, so it’s important to take a moment every now and then to reflect on how you’re doing.

What better time to do this than tomorrow, on International Self-Care Day?

To mark the occasion, we’re putting together a daily checklist to make it easier for you to include a few self-care habits in your normal routine.

Before then, it may help to pause and take stock of your lifestyle right now by answering the following questions:

  1. Are you eating properly? This means following a balanced diet and eating regular meals, including breakfast
  2. Do you exercise regularly, or at all?
  3. Is your mood positive or more negative generally?
  4. Are you stressed or working too much?
  5. How much sleep are you getting each night?

Knowing these details about your life can help you realise when you’re not taking care of yourself, and remind you to make changes to your lifestyle.
