The regular health checks every man needs to do -- are you?

This week, men around the world are being asked to stop and take stock of their health during International Men’s Health Week -- and we’re going to help you do it.

Firstly, when was the last time you did a general health check? Answer these questions:

  1. How healthy is your lifestyle? -- Are you eating a balanced diet, exercising daily and drinking no more than 3 units of alcohol a day?
  2. How’s your weight -- do you have a body mass index (BMI) below 25 (visit our free resource below to calculate your BMI)?
  3. Are you a smoker?
  4. Have you checked your cholesterol levels or blood pressure recently?

Knowing these details about your health can help you know if you’re at risk of conditions like heart disease, type 2 diabetes, heart attack or stroke.
