As lockdowns continue to be relaxed around the world, you may be feeling anxious or stressed about how to resume normal life while the threat of the virus remains.
If you’re feeling this way, you’re not alone.
Surveys by charity Anxiety UK revealed that more than two-thirds of people questioned were feeling more anxious as a result of lockdown restrictions easing.
This rise was due to fear of contracting the virus, as well as using public transport, going out in public spaces, shopping, returning to work and attending social events.
If you share the same fears, Anxiety UK suggest a few things you can do to help you adjust to life post-lockdown:

Working out in your house or garden may not be as fun as joining a class, going to the gym or being part of a sports team.
But even if you’re fed up, it’s important to keep going -- your mind and body will thank you in the long run.
While you may know the value of keeping your body fit and healthy, studies show that a lack of exercise can affect your mental health and lead to poor sleep, negative moods, stress and anxiety.
If you’re bored of the exercises you’ve been doing so far, why not try something new, or go for a walk or cycle ride if your country’s rules allow it?
Any form of exercise is beneficial as it causes your brain to release chemicals called endorphins, which help to relieve stress and improve your mood and sleep patterns.
